Think Income

It’s a known fact that one common goal among writers is to find new ways to generate more income. Unless we have a relative or wife who’s job is beneficial and includes health insurance, 401k, or simply lucky to always acquire the winning lottery number. For writers, there is no other way but up. We always plan of making our income higher, each week, each month and each year.

Our varied approach to our style in writing makes us healthy in coherence with the income growth. Meaning, the higher the pay, the more we are inspired in writing.

A common problem that would arise for writers like us is that once we are hooked up with a well known magazine company and then it suddenly closes, then they also have to cut back on weekly writers and columnists; getting a good break for writers is very hard to achieved. That is just like winning the lottery for us writers.

Dealing with our everyday writing opportunities and the possible everyday rejections that may arise, why not try something else new? And not focus on the doors that are just shutting down in front of our face.

Why not learn to write press releases? Free publicity is the answer to all our aching financial problems. Every business will grab the opportunity to have a free press release utilizing our expertise on writing as a kick-ass task. But try to remember that writing an article is somewhat a little different from writing a press release. It’s just that you and the editors you’re sending it to appreciate that you are plunging a story that they can run without compensating for it. Include press releases to your curriculum vitae and you can proffer on self-employed auction sites and earn over $150 per press release as an apprentice. Look for clients locally, build on your successes and you could end up living off your publicity income.

If your passion is to write self-help and “how-to” articles, you should have to be productive and enhance your knowledge on your favorite topics and put it into e-books. My first encounter in formulating e-books was to tackle an old writing class that I was no longer in touch of and simply convert it into one substantive document, in every lessons equals one chapter. It made me realize that there’s more to writing, with this e-book scheme, I have made dozens of sales on my primary week until now, it is still making sales. The time I devoted in writing my first e-book was one whole day. You could execute the same thing that I am doing, you can sell e-books from you own websites ar even at ebay.

There’s a lot more in store for us writers, we just have to open our hearts and minds for a probable source of extra income. In a world of competition, who else is not competitive if we are talking about generating an extra amount of money? Take advantage on your hidden talents and skills and maximize your time on being productive. If you treat writing as a passion or hobby, why not be practical and start making money out of it.
